Thanks to everyone’s efforts and the continued vaccine rollout, the California statewide stay-at-home order was recently lifted.

Palm Springs is part of The Coachella Valley, in Riverside County, which is still in California’s most restrictive, purple (widespread) tier. Some businesses, public services, stores and restaurants are open with restrictions. This includes outdoor dining and retail shopping, with restrictions. Check with individual businesses and public services for details.

Coronavirus cases continue to surge across the United States, including California. Everyone must follow The CDC’s health and safety recommendations, including wearing a mask in public, frequently washing hands with soap (for 20 sec), using hand sanitizer (made of at least 60% alcohol) and practicing social distancing.

The California Association of Realtors has issued specific guidelines for how to safely show homes in these times. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Before visiting a property, each person is required to read and sign a Coronavirus Property Entry Advisory for that specific property. Your real estate agent will email you the form, which should be signed electronically, through Docusign, before you visit a property.
  2. When visiting a property, everyone is required to wear a mask at all times (inside and outside) and to practice social distancing (no physical contact, stay at least 6ft apart).
  3. There are limits on the number of people allowed inside a property at a given time.  Ask your real estate agent for specifics.
  4. Guidelines are posted at every property and hand sanitizer will be available for your use.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and compliance with the guidelines to help keep you and everyone safe.
